Sprouts Tikki
In the High Protein chapter of Thriving Through Treatment: Your Culinary Companion While Healing from Cancer, we emphasise the importance of incorporating protein into your diet, especially during cancer treatment. While protein is crucial for maintaining strength and supporting recovery, it doesn’t have to come from protein powders that are often filled with sugar and artificial ingredients. Our Sprouts Tikki recipe is a wholesome and natural alternative that provides a substantial protein boost. Made with moong dal, gram flour, and a blend of herbs and spices, this dish is not only high in protein but also packed with flavour. It’s a perfect example of how you can meet your nutritional needs with simple, home-cooked meals that are both delicious and nourishing.
