Viral Henna Blouse: There is no right or wrong way of wearing a saree, according to the trends. Now, blouses have entered the discussion too. Over the years, women in India and abroad have found thousands of ways to wear the good old saree. From wearing it with crop tops to draping it around jeans, the saree seems to have adapted well to almost all clothing.
Recently, a woman amused netizens by posting a picture of herself on Instagram wrapped in a white chikankari saree with a Mehendi coloured designed blouse. The catch here is that the blouse is not made of any clothing material. It is a Mehendi design on her bare body that creates illusions of a blouse for the viewer, at first. Her look went viral and netizens were surprised by this new age blouse.
However, this illusion is hard to break if not seen carefully. In the first look, it may seem that the woman is wearing a cloth blouse but a second look will drop your jaw or make you squint harder. Either way, it is going to catch on as netizens are raving about it.

The caption of the post reads, "Henna blouse, what's next?" It has garnered more than 80,000 views, which is only increasing in number. One of the Instagram users commented under the post, "Mehandi lagana sikhana padega (Will have to learn how to apply henna)." But every new design that comes up on the internet usually either inspires people to recreate or to make jokes about it. This look too served the purpose of becoming a joke as one user wrote, "how to save silai ka paisa (how to save stitching cost)."
Although, the woman is not the first person to have worn a henna blouse and posted it online. In 2020, a bride named Chaitalee had worn a henna blouse and her picture had gone viral.
More On Saree:
