In 2021, we had a bunch of viral food trends on social media that surprised everyone. From maggi laddoo to Orea pakora, experimentation was on, in full swing. The food trends which were viral on social media either through their recipe or through their uniqueness are as follows:

1. Tortilla Wrap hack

This brilliant trend involves cutting a slit in a flour tortilla, topping each quadrant with a different ingredient usually cheese folding the tortilla over on itself, and toasting it in a skillet or panini press. 2. Pasta Chips

Pasta chips are delicious. The TikTok craze may be the most inventive way to eat pasta in a long time. Hundreds of videos of people making pasta chips went viral on TikTok and Instagram. Aside from the fact that they're delicious, the best thing about pasta chips is that they're easy to adapt to any noodles, sauces, cooking methods, or even time constraints. It's an incredibly versatile snack that only takes a few minutes to make.

3. Dry Fruit & Cheese Dosa

A video of ">Dry Fruit & Cheese Dosa was uploaded to YouTube by Harry Uppal. The vendor spreads dosa batter on a Tawa before adding butter, according to the video. The onion, capsicum, cabbage, and coconut chutney are next. Grated paneer, cashews, raisins, and garam masala are then added. He then tosses everything together and tops the dosa with coriander leaves, cherries, and grated cheese on the other half. Guess some people love some 'mawa' in everything they eat.

5. Chyawanprash- Filled Cookie

Netizens were shocked when Twitter user @bytesofnews posted a photo of Chyawanprash-filled cookie rolls. The tweet went viral very quickly. While some users thought it was interesting, others thought it was the strangest snack they'd ever seen.

6. Oreo Pakoda

Mayur Sejpal, a Twitter user, posted the tweet along with a photo of Maggi Milkshake. The picture went viral in a matter of minutes, and people were taken aback by the strange recipe.

9. Chocolate Masala Sweet Corn

10. Chocolate Maggi
