Kangana Ranaut and Saloni Gaur Twitter exchange: Kangana Ranaut engaged in another Twitter battle, this time it was with Indian comedian Saloni Gaur.
The Panga actor took to her Twitter account yesterday to demand 'fine or imprisonment' for the birth of a third child as a measure of population control. Gaur responded to this by pointing out that the actor herself has two siblings. Here is how the internet is reacting to the controversy.
The Kangana Ranaut And Saloni Gaur Controversy
The actor who recently starred in the movie Thalaivi tweeted a demand for imposing fine or imprisonment on those who opt for a third child, as a measure of population control. She wrote, "We need strict laws for population control, enough of vote politics it’s true Indira Gandhi lost the election and later was killed for taking this issue head-on she forcefully sterilised people but looking at crisis today at least there should be fine or imprisonment for a third child."

However, soon after Ranaut's tweet, Gaur tweeted a picture that hinted at the fact that Ranaut herself has two other siblings.

Ranaut responded soon enough and called her comedy "not worthwhile". She argued that the population control measure is the need of the hour. "No wonder your comedy is a joke on you," She says, "my great-grandpa had 8 siblings in those days many children used to die, in jungles, there were more animals hardly any humans, we must change with changing times, the need of the hour is population control like China we should have strong rules."

Ranaut further blamed Gaur for not understanding complex topics and asked her to do something worthwhile with her life instead of mocking people their vulnerabilities their hard-earned success to feed herself. "You clearly don’t know any better, little annoying dumb fool," she wrote.
If you could understand complex topics like these you would do something worth while with your life not mock people their vulnerabilities their hard earned success to feed yourself, you clearly don’t know any better, little annoying dumb fool ...

How Netizens reacted:
The comment section of Gaur's tweet flooded with comments from netizens. Some seem to agree with the actor and say "Population control is really the need of the hour" while some agree with Gaur's troll and call out the actor. It seems like the internet has split into two sides, one who agrees with Ranaut and the other with Gaur.
Great reply to this foolish , empty minded saloni . Really how can someone be so stupid population control is the need of the hour.

A user noticed the bigger picture of the current situation of India without paying much attention to the controversy. The tweet read, "For the first time I think you spoke sensibly. Family planning should be considered But for a country like India where even people who can't afford 2meal have 5kids; such a law would be difficult to impose. Some country did it but it's India."

While some users expressed their hatred towards the comedian for calling out on the actor, others stuck to supporting harmless comedies and claimed that Ranaut has no sense of humour.
Guess not everyone has a sense of humor and can laugh at oneself! Some people believe in their own myth. And their fans (bhakts) further fan their egos. Such a sad descent of a good actress!
