Bollywood Enthusiast Creates Kapoor Family Tree, Netizens React To Viral Tweet

The Kapoor family tree can be quite complicated to understand for someone outside the family. Over the years, the Kapoor family tree has welcomed various other families into its branches through matrimonial ties. Take a look at how Twitter has reacted to a viral Kapoor family tree created by an Indian films enthusiast.

An Indian films enthusiast who goes by the Twitter name Beth Loves Bollywood has created a much-detailed Kapoor family tree that is going viral on social media. The Bollywood enthusiast keeps updating the family structure with new additions to it with each new marriage in the family. Back in February 2021, she had to redo the Kapoor family tree to add Tillotama Shome since she recently learnt that the actor is married to Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan's nephew. Recently, new additions were made to the Kapoor family tree with Vicky Kaushal, Sanah Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The film enthusiast Beth is being appreciated for creating such a detailed structure of the family while also including the past relationships of the family members. Among the first members of the Kapoor family were legendary actors Prithviraj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Raj Kapoor.

Twitter reacts to viral Kapoor family tree

Since the family tree is going viral now, people are amused to know how various families are connected with each other as distant relatives.

Twitter user Priya Chatterjee wrote, "This is amazing! As a huge Bollywood fan, I love the connections. It's all in the family. When i first found out that Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra were first cousins, and were related to Vidhu V Chopra and even Ramanand Sagar, it blew my mind." Another Twitter user said that he was amused to know that Amitabh Bachchan was so closely related to the Kapoors, "I didn't know that AB is also related to Kapoor family. Good work 👍"

While on the other hand, Indian fans also pointed out the missing personalities in the family tree. Deepa Gahlot added filmmaker Ram Dayal whose daughter is married to Manish Malhotra's brother. "I don't spot Ram Dayal, Darshan Sabharwal's brother, was a filmmaker. His daughter is married to Manish Malhotra's brother, who are Punit Malhotra's parents. Ram Dayal's son Dimppy made a few films too," she wrote.

Many were amazed by the details and the chaotic connections between Bollywood families that they jokingly compared it to Delhi metro maps. Tech influencer Shubham Dutt joked, "I thought it was a Delhi Metro map." Another Twitter user jokingly said that the family tree is "more complex than the human genome structure".
