Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ''Nishank'' declared that the NEET exam for the undergraduate medical programme will be conducted only once in 2021.

The minister had given a written reply to the Lok Sabha regarding the exam. "In 2021, NEET (UG) will be conducted by (National Testing Agency) NTA only one time. NTA has informed that they have not received any memorandum in this regard," Nishank said.

NEET will be conducted on 1 August

As per the schedule, the NEET exam will be conducted in the offline mode on 1 August which is a Sunday. It will be conducted in 11 different languages including Hindi and English.

"The NEET (UG), 2021, is going to be conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses as per the relevant norms, guidelines and regulations notified by the regulatory bodies concerned," said the official notification issued by NTA.
