Previous Announcement Regarding JEE Main 2021
Earlier, the education minister had released the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021. He announced that the engineering entrance will be held in multiple shifts from next year — February, March, April and May.
The exam would also have a new pattern. Candidates would be required to attempt 75 questions out of 90 – or 25 out of questions 30 in each section of chemistry, physics and mathematics.
In order to help a larger group of students, the JEE Main exam would also be conducted in more regional languages, beginning from 2021.
Last year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the April session of JEE Main was postponed twice. Following the government guidelines, it was held finally in September. However it was subject to protests by a lot of students. Read more about it here
