CBSE Board Exam Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the date sheets for class 10 and class 12 board exams on February 2.
The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal came live on his Twitter handle and announced the date sheet. He said that the Board has tried to keep considerable gaps between the examination dates. He wished the students well for the exams and motivated them by saying that the students of India have proved to the world they are ready to give any exam. He also mentioned the recent developments in terms of the vaccine roll out in the country and suggested that the pandemic has started to ease in the country.
The students can access their exam schedules on the official website of CBSE. The board exams are going to commence from May 4 and the date sheets will contain the subject-wise schedule of the examination. As the board exams are scheduled to held offline, the exam schedule will also contain the guidelines for the exam.

- Hit download for the PDF of date sheet
The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the date for CBSE Board exams on December 31, 2020. As per the official announcement, made live on the Education Minister's social media platform, the board exams for both Class 10 and 12 will start from May 4, 2021, and will go on till July 15. He also said that the practical exams will be held during March and the dates will be declared by respective schools. Pokhriyal was quoted saying that CBSE board will "digitalise 45-year record of students. "
The students have been taking the online classes in the past year after the school were shut down because of the pandemic in March 2020. The board has decided to cut down the syllabi of Class 10 and 12 by 30 %. The students will have 33% of papers as per their internal choice. The minister had said that the decision to conduct board examination in May was made after consulting teachers, students and parents to make sure that the students are comfortable with the dates. The results of the examination will be announced on July 15, 2021.
