CAP 2021: Application For Nine New IIMS Closes Today

The applications for Common Admission Process (CAP) 2021 are going to close today. The admission process for the nine new Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is being conducted by IIM Raipur. The candidates who are yet to register can visit the official website of IIM Raipur before the window closes on January 23. The CAP conducts admissions for Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) or the Master of Business Administration (MBA).  

According to a report , the admission authority will take the CAT 2021 percentiles into consideration along with the outcomes of personal interviews taken by IIM Raipur for CAP 2021 shortlist of candidates. After the registration process ends today, personal interviews will be conducted in three phases. The first is reportedly going to start on February 15 and will go on till February 20. The second phase will be held between February 22 to February 27 which will be followed by the third phase which will take place between March 8 to March 13. Along with personal interviews, there can also be group discussions held in some rounds. 

How to apply for CAP 2021: 

• Visit the official registration site here. 
• Click the registration link on the main page and fill your CAT percentile and other details. 
• Scan the required documents to upload
• Click submit 

The last date to register for the CAP 2021 was initially reported as of January 21 but was later extended to January 23. The candidates will be informed about the personal interview round on January 27. 

The CAP is conducted by one of the nine new IIMs every year on a rotational basis. This year the institute administrating the process is IIM Raipur. The IIMs that are part of the CAP are IIM Kashipur, IIM Jammu, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Both Gaya.
