ATKU: The APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University(ATKU) in Lucknow is going to conduct offline examination for students on February 16.
The changes in the exam procedure have been three times now. The University has decided to keep appropriate gaps between consecutive papers. This decision has been taken by the varsity to ensure that no student is left behind because of the limited access to the internet.
The development was announced on Twitter by the official handle of the university. The post read, “As per the decisions taken in 69th examination committee meeting today, this is to share that appropriate gap shall be given between question papers and the exam will be conducted offline.”
As the cases of COVID-19 are on the decline, the varsity took the step to conduct offline mode of assessment. The Vice-Chancellor of ATKU, Vinay Kumar Pathak had earlier expressed the difficulties in conduction online examinations. He said that it will not be feasible since most of the students of the university stay in villages where there is limited access to the internet. He also added that proctoring all the students of ATKU is almost impossible.
