AIIMS Nursing Exam postponed: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) nursing exam for both undergraduate and postgraduate students has now been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was going to be conducted on June 14
The revised schedule for the examination will be out soon. In the mean time, aspiring candidates will have to keep checking the official website aiimsexams.ac.in for all future updates.
The application process for the AIIMS nursing exam officially concluded on May 25, 2021. Following this, AIIMS Delhi will also give an update on the final registration status of the exam. Subsequently, the admit cards, or hall tickets for the examination will also be issued by the institute.
Whenever the situation improves, the AIIMS exam will be conducted for securing admission into either 571 BSc, 30 BSc post basic and 124 MSc nursing seats at all AIIMS institutes.
AIIMS had earlier postponed a number of professional entrance exams for different courses such as MD, MS, MDS, DM, MCh, etc. All these exams were supposed to commence from June onwards, but have been halted for the time being, because of the COVID-19 situation in the country. About a month ago, the institute had decided on postponing the National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2021 too. It was supposed to be conducted on May 8.
AIIMS Jodhpur announces vacancies
Earlier, the AIIMS institute at Jodhpur released a notification regarding various vacancies. It said that candidates are allowed to apply for the posts of Research Assistant and Lab Technician, before 24 June this year.
Candidates having certain educational qualifications, are eligible to apply for the posts. This includes having a Post-graduation in Life Science/Graduation in Science/BDS/MBBS/BSc MLT with additional eligibility, etc. They can apply for the post, on the institute's official website.
