How fat are you, and who will marry you? Eat less. How thin are you? Why don't you eat?

Where have you come from so late at night, and what kind of clothes are you wearing? What will people say?

You haven't done waxing? What will people say?

You are married, and haven't you changed your surname? What will people say?

We are tired of listening to what people say. They have nothing better to do than judge, and we couldn't care less. They don't care about embracing our individuality, but instead, they show a false concern for things that don't even concern anyone but ourselves.

4 Things Women Are Beyond Tired of Hearing

#1 When are you getting married? If you are married, when are you planning to have a baby?

Want to go to late-night parties? Go after marriage

Want to go out? Go with husband after marriage

I mean, I really don’t understand why marriage and having children are considered the only goals for a woman.  Whether a woman wants to get married or have children, it should be her own decision and not because of family or societal pressure. She has the same rights as a man to balance a career and taking care of her home, and she shouldn’t have to bear the entire burden of doing household chores or taking care of children.  She is also capable of traveling anywhere she wants without the company of her husband.

#2 You’re pretty, but you'd look better if you lose some weight.

Don’t wear clothes that show so much skin.

Girls are only beautiful with long hair, so don’t cut it.

Women don’t exist to fulfill beauty standards or live up to modesty. No matter her size, the amount of body hair she has, or her choices with clothing and makeup, she should still be respected. Her worth is not decided by what she looks like. And even if a woman does follow certain standards, she is not better or worse than any other woman.

#3 Don’t get tattoos and piercings, because that means your character is bad.

OMG, You are a girl, yet you are abusing?

I need not conform to your stereotypical standards of femininity by keeping my legs crossed and my tongue clean. I can carry and express myself the way I want to.  Women don't need people policing their behavior or the choices they make about their bodies and minds.

#4 Don’t be the “feminist type,” no one will like you.

If a woman expresses her opinions and has a say in things, she is often subjected to hate and criticism. I don’t understand what is wrong with a woman being informed and vocal about her thoughts. As a feminist, if a woman is fighting against all these unsolicited questions and comments about the way she lives her life, what’s wrong with that?

But you know, there is never going to be an end to the judgment a woman is subjected to, no matter what she does. Whether she lives up to certain standards or doesn’t, people will always have something negative to say. So girls, live your life however you wish, and don’t let anyone dim your light.

And that is it for today’s video, I’ll meet you in the next one.
