Hema Malini mesmerised the people of Mathura with a dance-drama performance on the occasion of Sant Meera Bai's 525th birth anniversary. On November 23rd, a large audience had gathered for the celebration, excited to watch Malini exhibit her captivating dance and music talent. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also a part of the celebrations and commended the Mathura MP for her depiction of Sant Meera Bai's life.

Hema Malini's Performance Earns Crowd's Applause

Veteran actress Hema Malini was adorning a yellow lehenga paired with a parrot-green blouse, decorated with embellishments and statement jewellery. She looked luminescent with her striking makeup and costume, leaving the audience awestruck by her presence.

Malini was joined by a troupe of four to five other women, who did not fail to deliver a parallelly splendid performance. The entire show in Mathura was a homage to Sant Meera Bai, whose story was depicted in an enchanting song, dance, and acting fashion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also taken aback by the BJP Mathura MP's performance with the troupe.

Hema Malini shared a speech with the Mathura audience, thanking the Prime Minister for the opportunity to commemorate Sant Meera Bai. She said, "When I came here, I was saddened to see there was no recognition of Meera-ji who spent 15 years here. Then I informed the PM and today we are having such a grand event in her honour." Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a stamp and coin in honour of Sant Meera Bai.

Malini also thanked PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the chance to serve Mathura with her political expertise. She said, "As a Member of Parliament I have been able to bring a lot of development to Mathura. But there is still more development to look forward to. I also thank Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for supporting me through all endeavours."
