An eyewitness named Simon Hales found the incident to be quite unusual. He described the situation on social media saying that the woman, who had obviously missed her flight, believed she could still make it. She pushed past the airport staff, ran onto the tarmac, and approached the plane. He also mentioned that the woman was literally standing right under it, near the front wheel. Fortunately, the pilot either received a warning or spotted her and turned off the engine.

Another witness, Dennis Bilic, who recorded the absurd incident, added that people were somewhat slow to react; it seemed like they didn't know how to handle the situation. He added, "We were thinking 'Is anyone gonna stop her?'"

As a result of the woman's thoughtless behaviour, all flights experienced a 10-minute delay, but operations eventually returned to their usual schedule.
