The 23-year-old Marin so far has won the Olympic gold, World Championships twice and the All England title -- in just a couple of years. While the Spanish superstar will play for Hyderabad Hunters, which acquired her for a whopping Rs 61.5 lakh, Sindhu, arguably India's best player, was picked up by Chennai Smashers. The two badminton superstars are coming back again to play a match in the opening round of PBL-2.

“It’s a pleasure to be associated with the PBL. It’s a very exciting tournament and we have a very strong team in the Hunters. I believe we can go all the way and win the tournament," Carolina said. "I am looking forward to my stay in Hyderabad. I hear that fans in India turn up in huge numbers. I am excited about the event that awaits me," she added.

The Spaniard will fly to India soon and as a welcoming gift to her, Sindhu had again showed her best host personality. She gave Marin an invitation to come to her home in Hyderabad and test the best food this city offers -- Biryani. "I am sure she will enjoy her stint in India. I would like her to come home to relish home-made biryani," Sindhu said.

It indicates that so as far as the rivalry goes, that only stays within the court. Off the match, they both show a healthy sportsmanship bond. Well done!
