Online Harassment: Man Confesses To Harassing Over 50 Women For 'Personal Satisfaction'

According to the police, Rahim Khan was operating many morphing applications on mobile. They also said that Khan used to send obscene text messages to the women and minors from his fake accounts.

Online Harassment: A man was arrested in Faridabad on charges of online harassment. 

The 19-year-old man named Rahim Khan was allegedly stalking more than 50 women and girls online from his fake accounts. He is accused of morphing their pictures and spreading online, the police said. 

According to the police, Rahim Khan was operating many morphing applications on mobile. They also said that Khan used to send obscene text messages to the women and minors from his fake accounts. 

One of the survivors of online harassment reported him at the RP Puram Police station and she alleged that an unknown person with a social media handle of ch_rahim_khan786 was sending her obscene morphed images of her herself. He also asked for nude pictures from the complainant. 

The said social media account was then traced by Cyber Cell team southwest district of Haryana. The police found Rahim at his home in Faridabad and arrested him, Ingit Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner said.

The police officer confirmed that Khan has confessed to his crime and told the police that he has been harassing over 50 women for his personal satisfaction. Police have found evidence to build a case against him. it includes video clips, chat details and photographs of many women from his Rahim Khan's mobile phone. 

Further investigation is underway, police said.
