Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a therapist (after a very long gap, at last a sensible character), and Alia Bhatt with her natural acting skill plays the protagonist -- an aspiring filmmaker in search for a lot of unanswered questions. While the movie releases tomorrow, a few of our Bollywood celebs got a chance to watch the film and are going gaga over it.

Prior to its release, Shah Rukh Khan made sure that the target audience clearly gets the message this movie is trying to portray. SRK, who is known for his stance on women, was present at a press conference to promote the film along with actress Alia Bhatt and writer-director Gauri Shinde. While discussing queries with media, he also shared a few words about Gauri Shinde's film. "I am more comfortable working with female directors. I find being directed by men also... who are a little more women-like sensitive... there is a quality to that sensitivity. Of course I have worked with directors, who are action directors, which is also cool but I think, yes, I am more comfortable working with female directors," Shah Rukh said, as reported by TOI.

“It deals with every kind of relationship that you might have. While working on this film, I felt like a newcomer. The set had 99% women, something I'm not accustomed to. This generation is different from mine, so I am the newcomer here and I don't want to let them down. I'd even rehearse, but with permission," rues Shah Rukh, TOI reports.

He further added, "I will specifically say that we live in a man's world, unfortunately. We talk about feminism and women empowerment. The beauty of this film is that without being preachy, a bunch of confident women have made this film which says that whatever, wherever, with whom ever a woman does anything, that is correct without being judgmental on the same. So I feel this movie will leave an impression on men too," TOI reports.

With the success of his debut film 'English Vinglish', writer-director Gauri Shinde's ’Dear Zindagi' also stars Ali Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi and Shah Rukh Khan will be in an extended cameo. Khan has never taken up such a role in 25 years of his glorious career.

The film has generated plenty of buzz and we are sure nobody would miss a chance to catch this slice-of-life film, which is all set to hit the screens on November 25.
