The film starts with the group of girls attending a rock concert wherein they stay a little longer after its over and go off to a resort with a group of guys they met there. One of the girls is molested by the son of a famous politician and in defense she smashes the guys head with a glass bottle, injuring him significantly. This case takes up the core of the film, including efforts to shut her up and the girl being questioned why she was out late in the night in the first place. These are subjects of debate across Indian households and hence it struck a chord with many women.
