She describes herself as a creative entrepreneur. A business woman who puts design and ideas at the centre of her chase. An entrepreneur who is truly making in India. Meet Radha Kapoor founder of the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI), an investor and lover of fine arts. She is the first entrepreneur to be featured in our brand new series on women who are buidling the new India, empowered by Dalmia Cement.
Design thinking is our strategy
“It was always my dream to do something entrepreneurial but I want to do something with creativity at the centre of it all,” Radha describes her leap of faith into entrepreneurship. She started out four years ago with investments in a laundry company Pressto, but really came into her own when she got her alma mater Parsons to partner with ISDI and open their south Asia centre.
Radha Kapoor is taking the creative route to business
