The victims, Bhaskar (61) and Shantha (60), reportedly cried out for help during the fatal attack. Tragically, their pleas were dismissed as a routine squabble by neighbours who failed to recognize the dire situation unfolding next door. It was only when Sajith, the elder brother of the accused, attempted to contact his parents and received no response that the horrifying truth began to unravel.

Upon reaching their residence, Sajith was confronted with a grim scene. The house, locked from the outside, concealed a horrifying secret. With urgency surging through his veins, he forcibly entered the property, only to be confronted by a sight that will haunt him forever. Bhaskar and Shantha lay lifeless in a pool of their own blood, their lives brutally snuffed out.

Investigations into the shocking double homicide have revealed that the family had resided in Bengaluru for the past 12 years after relocating from Ullal in Dakshina Kannada district. Sharath, the alleged perpetrator, lived under the same roof as his parents, while Sajith chose to live nearby in Tindlu.

Disturbingly, reports suggest that conflicts between Sharath and his parents were commonplace within the household. The frequent quarrels, which would often escalate into heated exchanges, hinted at an underlying tension that ultimately exploded into unimaginable violence.
