As India battles with the COVID-19 surge, actor Jennifer Aniston urges all her fans to support India and spread awareness. She took to her Instagram stories to share several messages for them. In the first story, she said that a severe second wave of coronavirus infections has swept over India and set global records for new infections each day over the past five days.
She then continued saying that Americares "is raising money for immediate relief aid for India" and shared the details. Aniston declared that it is "delivering PPE to healthcare workers, providing medicine delivery and teledoc support and educating communities living in poverty on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19." Finally, the actor said that one doesn't need to donate to help but spread the word with whatever platform they have to help build awareness.

Rising COVID-19 cases in India
On Wednesday, India recorded 3,82,315 fresh cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases thus rose to 20,665,148, as per the Union Health Ministry's website.
