A transwoman from Indore alleged that her former partner forced her to undergo sex change surgery on the pretext of marriage. She was born male, but on the demand of her partner, she underwent sex change surgery. Now, the partner has deserted her, saying that she belongs to a "lower caste" and is unable to bear children.

As per the reports, the transwoman met her partner on a dating app in 2021. She alleges that he approached her and showed interest in her. Speaking to a media handle, she said, "He approached me through a dating app and showed interest in me. He later met me in Vrindavan and told me he liked me. He said, I look like a woman and should undergo a sex change operation."

Following this, she underwent some sex-changing procedures, one of which happened in July 2022. The partner had convinced the transwoman's parents too about their marriage. "My parents knew about us, but his didn't. He said he would talk to his family when the right time came," she said.

Why did the Partner Desert the Transwoman?

However, later, the partner deserted her by saying "sorry." He said that he ended the relationship because the transwoman belonged to a "lower caste" and was unable to bear children.

Referring to the partner, the transwoman alleged that he had been with her for two and a half years. How could he not know that she belonged to a "lower caste"? She further added, "I changed my body and my face only because of you. I bore such pain only because of you. Only because you assured me of marriage. You promised me you would marry me and stay with me here in Indore."

"Can this sorry fix my life? Can I find another partner? Will I stay like this forever?" The transwoman claimed.
