An incident of rape came to light in Bengaluru, where a 28-year-old dance teacher allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend several times over a year. On 30 July, Sunday, Kodigehalli police arrested the accused teacher and two of his friends after the woman filed a complaint.
The offender blackmailed a 23-year-old woman with her intimate videos and photos. The accused identified as Andy George, also allegedly blackmailed her to have sex with his friends. According to Times of India report, A resident of Vidyaranyapura, George befriended the woman on social media two years ago.
As per the police, They got into a love relationship and spend time with each other. During their relationship period, George took the survivor to his house, on outstation trips and spent time with her. He recorded their intimate moments and took private photos and videos when they were together on his mobile phone.
Bengaluru Dance Teacher Rapes Woman
When the woman got to know about George's wrongdoing, she reportedly broke up with him. Post-break-up, George threatened the woman with uploading the photos and videos on social media. As per the report, he raped her on multiple occasions in different locations and shared her details with two of his friends.
George forced the woman to have sex with them and recorded the videos of his friend's private moments with the woman. The two of his friends are identified as Santosh and Shashi Kumar. Reportedly, George even took money- Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 from his friends for having sex with the woman.
Police also stated of George opened an Instagram account and shared her intimate photos and videos with his friends when the survivor stopped meeting him and his friends.
After going through so much and being unable to tolerate any further harassment, she filed a complaint with the police. The woman is unemployed and said to live with her parents in northeast Bengaluru.
