Belgian Man Kills Mother, Discards Body Parts In Canal, Arrested

In a shocking revelation, a man in his mid-30s from Belgium has confessed to the gruesome murder of his own mother, sending shockwaves across the country. 

The discovery unfolded when a refrigerator containing two arms and two legs was found floating in a canal on the outskirts of Liege earlier this week, sparking an immediate murder investigation.

As detectives delved deeper into the case, they stumbled upon even more horrifying evidence. The victim's head and torso were discovered discarded in a trash container in a nearby river. Thanks to a distinguishing tattoo on the torso, authorities were able to identify the elderly victim as a woman in her 70s.

The perpetrator was taken into custody after being apprehended at a hotel near Brussels's airport just before dawn on Thursday. Shockingly, he was allegedly preparing to board a flight to South Korea when he was arrested, adding an eerie layer of mystery to the unfolding events.
