Woman in Her 60s Dies After Bungee Jumping Incident in South Korea:

Authorities of the Gyeonggi Nambu Proncincial Police suspect a possible malfunction of the carabiner clip, a crucial safety hook connecting the cord to the platform. that may have caused the fatal death of the woman. The facility's safety protocols and adherence to regulations are also under scrutiny.

The woman was immediately rushed to the hospital following the incident and doctors put all of their efforts into resuscitating her but the attempts failed as the woman did not survive the fall and was pronounced dead within an hour of the fall.

Not The First Incident:

Last year in December, a 56-year-old Japanese tourist similarly lost their life after taking the tallest bungee jumping flight in China's Macau Tower, taking a 764-feet-deep plunge that resulted in shortness of breath and ultimate death a few hours later to unconsciousness.

Footage of the distressing incident also went viral on the internet.

These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the inherent risks involved in extreme sports activities, even with safety measures in place. It is crucial for individuals to consider their health and consult with a physician before engaging in activities that may strain their cardiovascular system.
