A Nepali #Tarkariwali (a vegetable seller) has become the cynosure of all eyes. Her recent photos by Rupchandra Maharjan, who posted them on social media, reported The Gundruk Post, are creating a buzz. The girl was seen carrying vegetables on her back at the Fishling suspension bridge between Gorkha and Chitwan.

Though many news reports say that the girl was unaware of the fact that she was being photographed, Maharjan confirmed that he had a chat with her and took permission before clicking her. Through him, we now know the Nepalese girl’s true identity (recently revealed by The Gundruk Post). Her name is Kusum Shrestha.
Reportedly, Kusum hails from Gorkha district in West Bengal. Her parents are farmers and she is an 11th standard student. She sells fresh vegetables in the local market to help her parents out.
After becoming a hit on the internet, a few days ago, Arshad Khan, the tea seller from Pakistan, was offered a modelling contract, after which he also appeared on a TV show. Do you think our #Tarkariwali would get a modelling chance too? Tell us in the comments section below.
