Actress Mallika Sherawat was tear-gassed and beaten up by three intruders in her Paris apartment last week. Sherawat and her boyfriend, Cyrille Auxenfans, were attacked in the hallway of their apartment building while they were returning home.
According to CNN, the men sprayed them with tear gas and tried taking her bag. After struggling, they ran away and nothing was stolen.
Sherawat posted a video earlier this week, saying, "I am so grateful for my life. I thank you all for all your love and I thank God every day."
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian faced a similar incident in Paris last month. She was held at gunpoint outside her residence. She was shaken, but not harmed, say officials.
