History has rarely done justice to women, an excessive focus on battles & confrontation over geographies ensured only men and their accomplishments qualified as leadership stories. But when I look around it is women who are rewriting the rules of leadership. There is hardly any profession I know which does not have exemplary women who have set new benchmarks in leading, managing and running organisations, platoons and yes families!
I am a firm believer that leadership as a trait is in the DNA of women. They may not position as much as men but from the time we are born they hold the reins on leadership in a household. Knowing how to raise a child, to manage a home to doing their jobs in the profession they are in, it is truly a multi-tasking performance. We need to redefine leadership the way we know of it. Women lead the game any day for me in the amazing work they do.
