Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been making headlines ever since news of her pregnancy came out. In a recent Press conference held to announce the Global Citizen Festival of India she was asked about her child’s sex preference which ticked her off. Her apt answer to this was, “Wherever I go these days there is this one question asked which is I think quite intrusive – Is it a boy or a girl. And I'm like, excuse me, what difference does it make? I am a girl child. I would love to have a girl. I have done probably more for my parents than a son would", reports Indian Express.

The question was enough to bring out the strong feminist side of the actress and she continued her answer stating, “We are still in a nation where you are asked, if you are getting married, are you still going to work? If you are having a child, are you still going to work? These questions upset me….. For all those who think a girl child is considered taboo, not equal enough, let me say this that the woman is the only soul who has the right to carry a soul within her.” As reported by Indian Express. Kareena has been a regular at her work and exercise schedule even after her pregnancy. She even recently walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week.
