Now you can report against any sexual image of a child you come across over the internet. In a bold step the government has decided to crack down on online abuse. Aarambh India Initiative and Internet Watch Foundation came together to launch India’s first internet hotline service against online child sexual imagery today in New Delhi in the presence of WCD minister Maneka Gandhi.

Uma Subramaniam, co founder of Aarambh India that shaped up this initiative claimed that ‘Indian teen porn’ is the third most searched on the porn websites. Gandhi speaking to SheThePeople.TV said the hotline service would be successful if the public and the government worked together to eradicate the issue. The WCD ministry has already come up with Ebox facility where sexual abuse against children can be reported anonymously. And the hotline reinforces that effort.

Reporting through the hotline service is an easy five-step process.
