Amongst the ‘The 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking,’ KeyCorp CEO, Beth Mooney ranked number one for the second year in a row. Earlier this week, Mooney was also named one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Fortune.

With her, American Banker credited three other KeyCorp women with their annual ‘Women in Banking Awards’ - Maria Coyne, EVP and branch network executive of the company, Amy Brady, chief information office and  Margot Copeland, Director of Philanthropy and Civic Engagement. Mooney told Twst.com, “This honor is much more than a personal achievement.  It is a proud testament to the diverse, inclusive and collaborative culture we’ve nurtured at KeyBank.”

Mooney joined KeyCorp in 2006 and took over as the CEO in 2011. Since then, she has been credited with significant and strategic change in the Bank. Coyne, on the other hand, has been known for creating work opportunities for women. She is also the founder of Key4Women. Brady, who joined the company in 2012 as the CIO, leads the firm's Enterprise Technology and Operations organization. Copeland, the director of Corporate Diversity and Philanthropy is responsible for the company donating an average of $18 million annually to nonprofit organizations.
