Who is Marilyn Manson: Musician Marilyn Manson was accused of abuse of former fiancé and actor Evan Rachel Wood.

She shared a post on Instagram in which she accused Manson of grooming her in her teenage years and 'horrifically abusing' for years.  

Wood isn't the only woman who has made such accusations against Manson. After Wood's Instagram post, reportedly four other women came forward and shared their own experiences. They accused Manson of several misconducts including sexual assault, coercion, intimidation, psychological abuse and even violence.

• He is a lead singer and songwriter of a band in his name. 
• He got featured in David Lynch's Lost Highway and later collaborated with him for a series of 20 paintings named Genealogies of Pain which he unveiled at his first art show in 2002. 
• His music has been nominated for Grammy Awards in the past. He also bagged an MTV Video Music Award for his song video The Dope Show in 1999. 
• Manson has close connections with Jonny Depp who reportedly took inspiration from Manson for his Willy Wonka character. Manson is also the godfather of Jonny Depp's daughter Lilly Rose-Depp. 
• Manson was accused of motivating the shooters at the 1999 shooting massacre in a high school in Colorado. The claims were proved incorrect. Manson appeared in Michael Moore documentary Bowling for Columbine in which he discussed the incident.
