Social entrepreneur Navya Naveli Nanda recently responded to a netizen who criticised her recent ramp walk at the L’Oreal show in Paris.

On her Instagram account on October 5, Nanda shared a series of photos from the event. She wore an off-shoulder red dress and paired it with a pair of silver heels while walking on the Paris Fashion Week.

In the first photo, Nanda is seen holding a card featuring her as she stands, smiling for the camera. The second picture showed the Eiffel Tower beautifully lit at night. The third picture featured Nanda posing for the camera, while the fourth picture read, “I’m worth it” The fifth photo showed Nanda posing with mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya Bachchan, and the final photo was a shot of the ramp.

Sharing the photos, Nanda captioned the post, “Walking for a cause. A night that was dedicated to celebrating women and empowerment. Thank you, @lorealparis, for giving me the chance to be a part of a very special show alongside all your other ambassadors and spokespersons from around the world. We walked as a family. Women of different professions, different ages, colours, shapes, and sizes - celebrating diversity and worth."

She further added, "As Cause Ambassador for the @lorealparis family, I am grateful for the chance to work towards creating safer ecosystems for women through their Stand Up initiative! Thank you for giving me the chance to represent my country and the cause I stand for on this platform. A reminder to anyone who might need to hear it: YOU’RE WORTH IT. We are ALL worth it."

Navya Nanda Responds To Criticism

Engaging in the comments section of the post, a netizen wrote, “Put some hard work into learning ramp walk next time, as you weren’t the best sight there! Brave of you to have taken this step, but more training is required."

Responding to the critic, Nanda replied, "Okay," followed by a folded hand emoji.

Navya Nanda is the daughter of Shwetha Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda, chairman and managing director of Escorts Limited. Her brother, Agastya Nanda, is all set to play Archie Andrews in the Bollywood teen film The Archies.
