Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan To Star In Netflix's First Pak Original

Some of the biggest Pakistani bigwigs Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Sanam Saeed along with Hamia Amir, Samina Ahmed, and many more are heading to star in Netflix's first Pakistani Original soon.

Jo Bachay Hain Sang Sameit Lo is an official novel adaptation of the bestselling author Farhat Ishtiaq's 2013 novel of the same name. She is also the author of the novel Humsafar from which Mahira Khan's and Fawad Khan's most popular and beloved daily soap drama was adapted. 

What Is The Show About?

The story of the show revolves around a law student from Harvard, Sikander who keeps himself aloof as a life-altering incident took a huge toll on his life. His life takes a drastic turn when he meets Liza, an artist with a troubled past in Italy. 

The show will be set around the picturesque locations of the UK, Italy, and Pakistan which already hints at the high-budget project as the outstanding cast already brought a wave in headlines and will undoubtedly prove themselves as artists through this show on a much-awaited global platform. 

Stellar Cast

With an intriguing plot, what is exciting and makes this show a highly-anticipated drama is its heart-throbbing cast full of the finest gems of Pakistan's cinema. 

This show will be the reunion of Sanam Saeed and Fawad Khan after their most beloved Pakistani drama once available on Netflix, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, while they will be seen together in another upcoming series Barzarkh. Meanwhile, this show will also reunite Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan after their most popular daily soap Humsafar after one of the highest-grossing Pakistani films The Legend Of Maula Jatt. 

Jo Bachay Hain Sang Sameit Lo will also include Pakistani superstars Hania Amir (Pardein Mein Rehne Do), Samina Ahmed (Ms Marvel), Ahad Raza a Pakistani-Canadian actor gained his fame from popular Hum-Tum, Hamza Ali Abbasi an excellent antagonist in The Legend Of Maula Jatt, Omair Rana (Pinjra) who was also replaced by Fawad for Karan Johar directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Maya Ali (Parey Hut Love), Bilal Ashraf (Superstar), Nadia Jamil (Jo Bichar Gaye), Iqra Aziz (Raqeeb Se), Khushaal Khan (Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri). 

The release date of the show has yet not been confirmed. 

Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with Rhea Kapoor's Khoobsurat (2014) opposite Sonam Kapoor, while he starred in Kapoor & Sons (2016) in a leading role along with Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra and also played a cameo role in Karan Johar's directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. While Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut in Raees in 2017 opposite SRK.
