Twitter Users Have Some Hilarious Reactions To 'Ek Villain Returns' Trailer; Watch

Ek Villain Returns Trailer Reactions
The Ek Villain Returns cast and crew unveiled the movie's official trailer on Thursday, June 30. It features a fight between Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham. Their respective love partners were also depicted in the trailer. While John is matched against Disha Patani, Arjun and Tara Sutaria are viewed as a couple.

The beginning of the nearly three-minute-long teaser shows a meeting where a representative discusses serial killer Rakesh Mahadkar, who was portrayed by actor Riteish Deshmukh in the 2014 movie Ek Villain. Then, eight years later, he describes how a new villain had appeared. The new bad guy goes after women with "one-sided" partners.

In a post on Twitter, music company T series wrote, “It’s Ek Villain’s world, we are just living in it! #EkVillainReturns trailer is out now! Come to your nearest cinema halls this Villaintines Day- 29th July 2022.” The pun on Valentine’s Day sounded as un-funny as Twitterati shared some of its hilarious negative reviews on Ek Villain as well as its sequel Ek Villain Returns.

From commenting about “poor cast” to users asking whether the movie has an Arijit Singh song in it, Twitter users dissected the trailer. One among the many who tweeted, “Not going to lie, Shraddha was bad in Ek Villain like she was trying so hard to look all goofy but it didn't work for me and I had to like skip her scenes."

Calling Arjun Kapoor a “dynamic actor,” one of the several users begged to differ saying, “Arjun Kapoor is a dynamic actor he did a great performance, Arjun Kapoor is looking stunning as usual for Ek Villain 2 just can't wait for the movie. #ArjunKapoorIsBack.”

Others defied saying, “If it’s a Bollywood love film it’s got to have raving reviews for me to even consider it. The last few I tried were shockingly bad. But the tunes were nice. Like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain.”

Setting the bar high in terms of Bhool Bhulaiya 2 one user commented, “Ek Villain Returns should learn how to a make a good sequel from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.”

The first project Arjun will work on with Tara, Disha, and John will be Ek Villain Returns. On July 29, the movie will be released in theatres.
