The trailer for the highly anticipated film All India Rank dropped today, offering a glimpse into the intense world of competitive exams and the societal pressure surrounding them in India. Written and directed by debutant Grover, the film is a slice-of-life drama navigating what a 17-year-old aspirant goes through from being trapped in the web of love, bonds, sexuality, expectations, dreams, and reality.

The trailer opens with a montage of scenes depicting the gruelling reality of exam preparation – students hunched over books, attending coaching classes, and facing immense pressure from their families and society to succeed. It then focuses on the journey of two friends, Abhay and Shruti, who navigate the cutthroat competition to secure a coveted All India Rank (AIR) in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), a gateway to prestigious engineering institutes like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

The trailer throws light on the societal obsession with IITs and the emotional toll it takes on students. It portrays the sacrifices they make, the pressure they endure, and the constant struggle to live up to expectations. The visuals are intense and emotional, capturing the anxieties, aspirations, and vulnerabilities of the characters.

All India Rank is not just a coming-of-age story; it's a social commentary on the education system in India and the societal pressure placed on students to excel in competitive exams. Grover, the director, has said that the film is inspired by his own experiences and aims to spark a conversation about the need for holistic education and the mental well-being of students.
