Newsroom Dramas, may it be series or a movie can evoke a sense of urgency and inspiration within us, it can also motivate us to question the system. More than all of this, these pieces reflect our society, our judgements, our perception of how the system works. News and journalism are one of the strongest pillars of democracies and their sole purpose is to bring together people. It is due to these reasons that journalism and media has continued to reach masses since centuries using their 'sensationalisation' mechanism to garner public attention. The role of women in journalism has always been evolving yet never taken seriously. With some exceptional stories and investigative pieces these newsroom dramas bring to you empowering and some true stories that were uncovered by women.
