Coming to other fields now, I used to really follow, respect and admire Tarla Dalal. She was the only woman in the field when there were others like Sanjeev Kapoor. She wrote over 100 books and sold more than 3 million books. She also ran the largest Indian food web site, and published a bi-monthly magazine, Cooking & More. It is sad that she is no more.

7. Ekta Kapoor

She is the most successful female producer in the entertainment industry. Though her work is not something we love or applaud, but she knows her business well and has been super successful till date.

And there are many many more, these were just a few examples. It is not 'luck' that played a part in their lives always. Each and every successful women leader out there, has an inspiring story. Struggles have been a part of everyone's lives and it was not all hunky dory for them. Neither did they achieve all this in a day! Hard work and sheer perseverance have made them reach where they are.

So, pick your leader, be inspired and remember 'You Too Can'!
