There are very few women billionaires in the world and even lesser self-made women billionaires in the world. Lack of encouragement, no access to required tangible and non-tangible resources and familial commitments; amongst other things prevent women from being as successful as their male counterparts.

 

Some women, however, have defeated all such issues and have emerged to be the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. Some of these started at the very bottom of the pyramid and rose up with their commitment and hard work. Some of these women are Mary Kay Ash, Anita Roddick, Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray, C.J. Most successful people around the world are self-reliant. As important as it is to delegate work and not try to do it all yourself (a mistake that most women make), one should always take matters into their own hands when it comes to important decisions.

When one faces hurdles (and everyone does), quitting can seem tempting but that is when one needs to buckle up and keep going.
