A New York-based entrepreneur's post about his mother is raking in the likes. Sahil Bloom posted the life story of his mother on her birthday, and it is nothing short of inspirational, as the lakhs of views and likes the post received would testify. Sahil Bloom's mother, Lakshmi Bloom, moved from Bangalore to the US on her own on a college scholarship that she secretly applied for. It was difficult for her to move away from her home country and be on her own, but with her grit and determination, she made it happen.

Lakshmi got her bachelor's and master's in the US within four years. In addition, she also met an American whom she would soon fall in love and raise her family with. She would run a small business and raise her children and her grandchildren all on her own terms.

In Sahil's post, he mentions how his mother and father never go a day without a kiss or an 'I love you', setting excellent examples for their children. They have been together for 42 years, and their marriage is still going strong. "What a life! What a legacy! Happy Birthday, Mama. Here's to you." Sahil captioned the post on X.

Lakshmi herself replied to Sahil under his post, stating how his love makes it all seem like a fairytale. "Who could have predicted my mischievous younger child would turn into an eloquent son! Thank you for this loving tribute," she replied, giving us a glimpse into the mind of a proud mother.
